Stephen Weber

Stephen Weber oversees audit services within the UVA Health System.  He has an extensive career across public accounting, internal audit and higher education. Prior to joining UVA, Stephen was an Assurance Director at YHB.  He primarily focused on outsourced internal audits for financial institutions and SOC1/2 examinations.  He has also worked for Ernst & Young, CarMax and the Virginia Auditor of Public Accounts.  

In additional audit background, Stephen spent over four years as a full-time faculty member in the Accounting department at Virginia Commonwealth University. A recognized industry leader, Stephen authors Wolters Kluwer's authoritative CCH manual on Information Technology Auditing.

Stephen received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business.
