Assistant Vice President for Compliance Gary Nimax was recently interviewed by UVA Today about his experience being gay in the UVA community and the progress made over the years since he was an undergraduate student in the late 1980s.

Two members of the UVA Audit team recently took on new leadership roles in professional organizations. Chief Audit Executive Carolyn Saint (left)  was appointed to chair the Institute of Internal Auditors' Global Guidance Council. Star Dubrow, director of UVA Health Audits, has been chosen to serve a two-year term on the Central Virginia Chapter Board of Governors of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
